| WINNERS OF THE "LOOK-ALIKE" CONTEST! LUKE & NELLIE (AKA: The Twins!) Luke & Nellie are the last of a group of siblings we took in that are still looking for their "Fur-Ever" home!! Luke & Nellie are a year old. They were rescued from the drainpipe they were born and living in when they were only a few weeks old. They became too big for this elderly couple who is rescued them to keep and they came to us to find permanent homes! Although Nellie & Luke are what we consider "Heintz 57" dogs, they look EXACTLY alike, down to the coloring on their tongues! They are completely black, including his tongue and has a short coat. The only difference is their sex! They were born on/around February 6, 2007, and is UTD on shots, S/N and house trained! Luke & Nellie are great with other dogs and children, (the elderly couple that took them in had a few cats, but they have not been around any since coming into foster care) The "Twins" love to go for walks/runs or to the dog park. They are both around 40 lbs (a medium size), so not too big for an apartment! Please consider adding one (or both!!) of the Twins to your family! |
